NDA II Result 2023: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the name-wise NDA 2 result 2023 on November 23. The name-wise result was announced in PDF form. The result PDF displays the names of qualified candidates. NDA 1 2023 marks were released in PDF form for the recommended candidates.

Earlier, UPSC announced NDA 1 2023 final result. A total of 628 candidates were qualified on the basis of the results of the written exam and SSB interview. Candidates were selected for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for the 151st Course and Naval Academy for the 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). The result was announced on the official website-upsc.gov.in in PDF form. The result PDF displays the roll number of qualified candidates. How to Check NDA II Result 2023:

  1. Visit the official website– Candidates must open the official website, https://upsc.gov.in, to check their results. If they want to check their results directly, they can open the PDF provided on this page.
  2. Select the Result link – Candidates have to click on the “Result” tab given on the right side of the homepage. They can also search and click on the “Written Result: NDA 2023” link provided under the head “What’s New” on the homepage.
  3. Click on Result PDF – The result page will appear. Candidates will see the list(s) of all the written results. They have to Search for the NDA II result and have to open the Result PDF file.
  4. Check the result – The PDF will open on the screen. They can search for their roll number and name in the list. If a candidate’s roll number will be there in the list it means he has been recommended for final admission.
  5. Save and Download – Once candidates have checked the result if they wish they can download the result file for their personal record. To download the PDF file, they have to hit the download option given in the top right corner of the page.

Details Mentioned on NDA II Result 2023 

  • NDA Result will be published in the form of a PDF file. This result PDF will indicate the roll numbers of the candidates qualifying the written exam and recommended for the SSB round. The names in this list are supposed to indicate the order of merit.
  • Along with the roll numbers, the list will also include necessary information and instructions related to the result and post-result proceedings.
  • Candidates can easily access their result just by opening the result PDF. They will not require any login credentials to view the merit list.

NDA II Result 2023: Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for the NDA exam 2023, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age limit and educational qualification.


  • Candidates must be an Indian citizen/ subject of Nepal/ subject of Bhutan/ refugee of Tibetan who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention to settle permanently in India.
  • Candidates who have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and east African countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda or Vietnam with an intention of settlement in India can also apply.
  • Foreign nationals (except Gorkhas) will be required to produce a certificate of eligibility which is issued by Govt. of India

Age Limit 

  • NDA 1 2023 age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years. Only unmarried male/female candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 2004 and not later than 1st July, 2007 are eligible
  • NDA 2 2023 age limit is that candidates must have born not earlier than January 2, 2005 and not later than January 1, 2008 are eligible for the exam

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 can apply for Army Wing of National Defence Academy
  • For Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academy of National Defence Academy, NDA qualification is Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates who are appearing in Class 12 can apply for the exam provisionally

Gender & Marital Status

  • Both male and female candidates will be eligible for NDA 2023
  • Candidates will not be allowed to marry until they complete their training period

Physical Standards

  • Candidates must be physically fit to be eligible for the exam
  • Candidates who have withdrawn or resigned from any training academies of Armed forces on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible for NDA examination

Eligibility for Women

NDA eligibility for women is the same as for male candidates. We have provided below the NDA 2023 age limit for female, educational qualification and medical standards.

 Age Limit for Women

The NDA 2 age limit for girls is that candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 2005 and not later than January 1, 2008.

Educational Qualification for Women

  •  For Army wing of NDA, candidates who have cleared or are appearing in Class 12 can apply for the exam
  • For the Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy of NDA, candidates who have passed or are appearing in Class 12 can apply. Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Class 12.

NDA II Result 2023 Download: Qualifying Marks

You need to pass each subject with a minimum of 25% marks. However, there is no sectional cut-off. The cutoff for the written exam is cumulative of marks in both subjects.

NDA II Result 2023: Selection Process

The NDA selection process has two parts- the written test and the SSB interview. You will only be called to the interview if you pass the written test. The written test is conducted by the UPSC. The interview will be conducted by the Service Selection Board. The NDA application form which you need to fill out first to kick start the entire process is available online on the UPSC’s website.
